With BSocSci (2007) and LLB (2009) degrees from the University of Cape Town (UCT), Calli Solik became a teaching and research assistant in UCT’s Private Law Department before being awarded an exchange scholarship and completing an LLM at Cornell University in the United States in 2011. Upon returning to South Africa, she clerked for Justice Sisi Khampepe at the Constitutional Court. She then served articles at Bowmans and was admitted as an attorney in 2015. She continued as an associate in the Bowmans litigation department until 2017 and is now occupied as an independent legal researcher and consultant. Calli has carried out legal research for FUL since 2022.
