Sanan Mirzoyev, an alumnus of the University of Pretoria (LLB) and the University of Cambridge (LLM), is an advocate, consultant and researcher at FUL. A former clerk at the Constitutional Court, Sanan has also worked on high-profile public enquiries in South Africa and the United Kingdom. Shortly before joining FUL in late 2022, Sanan was Southern Africa’s anti-corruption adviser for the UK’s Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, where he was responsible for designing and implementing programmes focused on the UN Convention Against Corruption, as well as governance reforms in areas of law enforcement, illicit financial flows, procurement and digitisation.
